I'm dreaming of July—and isn't that a tough place to be?
I’m not all quite sure who actually reads these newsletters and because of that, I guess I’ll speak freely. I am wishing my life away. My mind is on the one week long vacation I have in July—the big Fourth of July family trip down to Amelia Island. Because of this, this roundup is one part tropical vacation and two part Americana, with some good home finds in between.

Larroudé, Biarritz Flat Sandal In Light Caramel Leather ($180, 30% off!) - First things first, I have been looking, searching, pining, praying for a summer staple sandal under $200 and I have finally found it. I own other Larroude shoes and I’m so impressed by the quality at the price point. Plus, this one is so on-trend with the gold toe piece. It’s giving Amanu dupe. And while I’d love to buy the Amanu ones, it’s not in the cards this summer price-wise.
Byrdie Golf Social Wear - Daiquiri Midi Dress ($294, originally $420) - Ok, hear me out. This is one SALE! I wanted this red gingham dress (and the cape honestly) since they dropped last summer but couldn’t afford it at the full price point. Imagine this dress with the cape for the Fourth of July shrimp boil. Iconic.
Dorsey James Bezel Rouge Paracord Necklace, Gold ($395) - Not only do I love the name of this brand (follow our design account @dorseyinteriors!) but I also love the pieces. The second half of their Paracord II collection is truly to die for and the perfect splurge piece for summer.
MZ Wallace Metro Accordion II ($135) - I have been looking for a cute version of this “accordion” style bag. This seersucker one is classic. I need a new makeup bag that is easily organizable and this one really fits the bill for me. Also, maybe one day when I have a little one, I’d love for this to be my diaper bag!
H&M Bubble-Hem Dress ($42.99) - Yall! How cute is this H&M dress? If you can’t commit to the Byrdie dress (even on sale) this is a great alternative. I was served this on Pinterest and was shocked it was H&M. Although I’m not a huge fan of shopping these fast-fashion brands, I think a piece here and there is okay.
